Rurality In State Data Systems
The Strong Foundations 2025 survey iteration builds on prior efforts, with a special emphasis on state data efforts for rural learners and institutions. The data provides improved insight into state rural contexts – both on the ground realities and the potential and limitations of current data systems to inform and reflect those contexts.
The rural questions were a light bulb moment for us. Being a rural state, we just don’t think about it and have never considered analyzing the data and comparing the rural to the non-rural institutions.
